ACTIVIATION: MELBOURNE TATTOO
By connecting people, starting conversations, and implementing mental health training, we’re taking steps to address the leading cause of death for Australians aged 15 to 44.
WE'RE EXTENDING THE MELBOURNE TATTOO WINDOW
We’ve received a lot of feedback about the tattoo booking window, including requests from people who want to get tattooed but can’t make it to Chapel Tattoo in December. So, after speaking with the team at Chapel Tattoo, we’ve decided to extend the tattoo period into 2025. This gives those who missed the December dates an additional opportunity to book at a more convenient time. PLUS you can now purchase a tattoo from the Melbourne activation and get it tattooed in Sydney at Thanks Tattoo.
TATTOO ARTIST: ANDREW MCLEOD
Andrew McLeod has been instrumental in facilitating the Melbourne In Pieces activation. Beyond sharing his ‘Rock of Ages’ artwork, which has been divided up into puzzle-piece tattoos, Andrew has been supportive throughout every aspect, stepping outside of his comfort zone and making space for others to do the same.
AMBASSADOR: HAYLEY WILSON
We’re thrilled to welcome pro skateboarder Hayley Wilson as an In Pieces ambassador. An Olympian and Slam’s 2024 Skater of the Year, Hayley is renowned for her fearless approach to the sport, coupled with smooth technical ability.
AMBASSADOR: HARRY GARSIDE
We are proud to announce that Olympic boxer, author, and mental health advocate Harry Garside has joined In Pieces as an ambassador. Harry is dedicated to changing the way we understand masculinity and believes vulnerability is essential for opening doors to conversation and connection.
AMBASSADOR: LOCHLAN SUTHERLAND
We’re stoked to share that artist Lochlan Sutherland AKA Rholtsu has joined In Pieces as an ambassador. Known globally for his conversation-starting resin art pieces, Lochlan has found art to be a source of therapy when dealing with his own experiences with suicide. We thank Lochlan for sharing his story and art with us.
AMBASSADOR: NICK BOSERIO
We are thrilled to announce professional skater and Olympic commentator Nick Boserio has joined In Pieces as an ambassador. As Nick explains, the skateboarding world has been heavily affected by suicide, and he believes that working with In Pieces will help open up conversation and strengthen the community.
