We are delighted to be sharing the artwork for the Melbourne edition of In Pieces. Andrew McLeod has created his interpretation of ‘Rock of Ages’ which will be divided into 280 pieces and tattooed onto individuals, building a connected community one piece at a time.

Huge thank you to everyone who embraced In Pieces’ first Coffee for Connection fundraiser and purchased a coffee on World Mental Health Day. Thanks to you we raised over $2K which will go directly to funding Mental Health Workshops.

We are proud to share with you that we will be working with legendary tattooist and owner of Melbourne’s Chapel Tattoo, Andrew Mcleod aka @peppermintjones, for the second edition of In Pieces.

We are officially partnering with In Minds Training to deliver a number of mental health response training workshops. Last week we held our first mental health training course with In Minds Training at Thanks Tattoo in Darlinghurst. The session, which was hosted by Chris Houston, fostered a safe space for discussion and learning for the 25 participants.

We’re so proud of the countless conversations and connections that have spawned from the Sydney edition of In Pieces. First and foremost we want to thank everyone who has been tattooed, and donated their time and/or money to the initiative. Over the past few months we’ve been taking stock of the project, what has been accomplished, and what our future goals are.

Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin is one of the greatest AFL players of all time - a powerhouse forward with an unforgettable presence on and off the field. A proud Noongar/Wajuk man, Buddy’s impact on the game and the culture around it is legendary, inspiring generations of young people across the country. We’re honoured to have Buddy join the In Pieces team.

Last night we gathered in Sydney to connect, raise money... and dance. With the Sydney leg of suicide support initiative In Pieces having seen 250 people get tattooed an individual puzzle piece, and raised over $140K, there was much to celebrate last night at the gala event we co-hosted at ivy Ballroom.

Laura Enever is a fearless force in surfing. A former WSL Championship Tour standout turned big wave charger, known for pushing limits in and out of the water. Her energy, style, and grit have made her a standout in global surf culture. We’re pumped to have Laura join the In Pieces team.
