Recently, the team at Beach Brains brought a dose of summer to Above The Clouds, taking over the Sydney boutique for Beach Club Sydney, an event designed to welcome the warmer months and bring together two likeminded communities. The afternoon had an easy, upbeat energy, with people dropping in to connect, explore the space, and support a cause that sits close to our mission.
One of the highlights of the event was the Above The Clouds x Beach Brains collaborative tee, featuring artwork by Gummy Johnston of Thanks Tattoo. Profits from the tee will be directly donated to The In Pieces Foundation, helping fuel the work we do to challenge stigma, support post-suicide communities, and open up more honest conversations around mental health.
A one-of-a-kind leather jacket hand-tattooed by Gummy was also raffled on the day, quickly becoming a crowd favourite and helping boost our fundraising efforts.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who made the day happen. Beach Brains, Public Library PR, Gummy Johnston, Thanks Tattoo, and the wider ATC and Beach Brains community who showed up, supported, and shared the experience.
