ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Andrew Mcleod has created his interpretation of ‘Rock of Ages’ which has been divided into 280 pieces and tattooed onto individuals, building a connected community one piece at a time. The phrase ‘Rock of Ages’ originates from a centuries-old hymn and symbolises strength and protection in the face of adversity. These notions of resilience and endurance speak directly to what we’re building at In Pieces; through connection, open conversations, and collective action, we can become better equipped to deal with life’s challenges.
