MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID COURSE

In Pieces has a working partnership with In Minds Training, who are a leading training and education provider in the mental health space. By partnering with In Minds Training, our aim is to empower individuals, workplaces and communities across the country with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to advance our mission of promoting the power of connectedness in mental health management.

The nationally recognised Mental Health First Aid Course provides awareness around mental health and mental illness and teaches a support scaffold to guide supportive conversations. The 2 day course provides practical scenarios for general support and highlights the actions needed in a mental health crisis. Participants receive a 3 year accreditation.

INVESTMENT: $250 PP (IF UNDER 12 PEOPLE, A FLAT RATE OF $3,000 APPLIES)

The 12-hour course caters to all learning styles and provides hands-on, scenario-based learning, ensuring participants gain practical experience in applying mental health first aid principles. In-depth resources, including the MHFA textbook, are provided to support ongoing learning and reference. Participants will receive a certificate and a three year accreditation as a Mental Health First Aider, equipping them with the confidence and skills to provide immediate and effective support in real world situations.
